Remarks and Suggestions
a. Before the Bible reading please pray according to Psalm 119; 18 -19 and believe God’s promise in Jeremiah 33:3
b. Remember the Holy Spirit is your teacher.
c. Preferably read your 20 chapters at one sitting early morning. Short breaks of a few minutes in between help. If you cannot read at one sitting read ten chapters in the morning and the rest at night
d. Whatever the Holy Spirit speaks to you from your reading (maybe just a couple of verses) please meditate on. As you lie down to sleep at night let your mind be occupied by these verses.
d. Buy a new notebook and write down everything what the Holy Spirit speaks to you.
e. Do not make this exercise a burden but ENJOY it by realizing you are having Fellowship with God.
f. One does not read the scriptures to just know the scriptures but one reads it to KNOW GOD through the scriptures.

GRACE - A Study
“Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. 23 For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity”
Deception and truth are opposites
• My heart is deceitful above all things Jer 17:9
• It follows that there is no truth in my heart
• It is truth that sets free Jn 8:32
• It follows that my heart is bound
The purpose for which I am freed is that I may free others—through preaching and practicing the gospel of God’s forgiveness in Christ
Gal 5:1 “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free” NIV
• But I am not free
• Therefore I am not able to set others free
It is iniquity that binds Acts 8:23
• Bitterness and iniquity go together Acts 8:23; ‘iniquity-bitterness-envy-confusion (lack of wisdom, deception)-every evil thing’ all go together Jas 3:14-16
• If I forgive others, I will be forgiven. If I do not forgive others I will not be forgiven Mt 6:14-15
• Because I have not forgiven others, there is ‘iniquity-bitterness-envy-confusion (lack of wisdom, deception)-every evil thing’ in my heart
• As long as I am self-seeking, as long as the thoughts of my heart are self-seeking, then thoughts of my heart have not been forgiven Acts 8:22 (To not forgive is to be self-seeking; to forgive is to be other-centered)
• Because I have not forgiven others I am bound
God’s forgiveness in Christ is complete
• Forgiveness is by GRACE
• To lift up Jesus Jn 12:32 is to lift up the forgiveness of God, to lift up the grace of God
• To live a crucified life is to live a forgiving life
• The degree to which I live a forgiving life, to that degree I experience the grace and forgiveness of God, to that degree I experience the gospel
• The degree to which I live a forgiving life, to that degree I live the gospel, to that degree I am equipped to preach the gospel
Why am I not able to forgive people?
• It is because deep in my heart I have not forgiven God: I have two complaints against Him
1. I hold God responsible for all my ills
2. Also, I cannot accept ‘forgiveness by grace’; it leaves no room for my ‘self’. I cannot forgive God for setting up a system which leaves no room for my ‘self’ (See Spurgeon’s Daily Devotional below)
SPURGEON July 14
"If thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it."
Exodus 20:25
God's altar was to be built of unhewn stones, that no trace of human skill or labour might be seen upon it…All alterations and amendments of the Lord's own Word are defilements and pollutions. The proud heart of man is very anxious to have a hand in the justification of the soul before God; preparations for Christ are dreamed of, humblings and repentings are trusted in, good works are cried up, natural ability is much vaunted, and by all means the attempt is made to lift up human tools upon the divine altar. It were well if sinners would remember that so far from perfecting the Saviour's work, their carnal confidences only pollute and dishonour it. The Lord alone must be exalted in the work of atonement, and not a single mark of man's chisel or hammer will be endured. There is an inherent blasphemy in seeking to add to what Christ Jesus in His dying moments declared to be finished, or to improve that in which the Lord Jehovah finds perfect satisfaction.

The Unpardonable Sin - A Study
Answer: A sin for which there is no forgiveness. A sin that guarantees eternity in the lake of fire and brimstone. A sin that even the blood of Jesus cannot cover.
Question: What is an unpardonable sin?
Answer: Not forgiving a brother from the heart
Mt 18:35 “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”
see also
Mt 6:12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors. ,
15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Question: Why is unforgiveness unpardonable?
Answer 1: I know that God has forgiven him in Christ. But I choose to nullify the judgment of God. I exalt myself above God. I do what Lucifer did
Isa 14:13-15 “For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.' 15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit” NKJV
Answer 2: When I speak evil of my brother (whether in my heart or with my mouth) I am sitting in judgment over the word of the God and its Author.
James 4:11-12 “Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. 12 There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?” NKJV
Answer 3: When I refuse to see my brother as God sees him, I am treating lightly the blood of Jesus that has declared him clean. How then can I claim cleansing by the blood of Jesus?
Question: Is saying ‘I forgive you’ not enough?
Answer: No. I am required to forgive with my heart. If in my heart I still look down upon him then I am in danger of hellfire Mt 5:22.
But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother 5without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.
Question: But I am unable to keep my heart soft. I am unable to have tender feelings towards him, to have compassion towards him, to have the love of Christ flowing out from my heart towards him. I want to, and I try, but I still have problems; the wounds have not healed. What do I do?
Answer: See below
Question: Are you basically a good person, a well meaning person?
Answer: Yes!
Question: Is the other person also basically a good person, a well meaning person?
Answer: Yes!
Question: You are having difficulty loving him, even though you want to. Isn’t he also having difficulty loving you, even though he wants to?
Answer: Yes!
Question: If you have difficulty forgiving him from your heart even though you are trying, does he also not have difficulty forgiving you from his heart even though he is trying?
Answer: Yes!
Question: If he does not forgive you from the heart, is he not in danger of hell?
Answer: Yes!
Question: Would you like him to go to hell?
Answer: No!
Moses and Paul were willing to go to hell to keep others out of hell.
Exodus 32:32 “Yet now, if You will forgive their sin — but if not, I pray, blot me out of Your book which You have written” NKJV
Romans 9:2-3 “I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart. 3 For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh” NKJV
Jesus went to hell to keep your friends out of hell.
He commands us to love as He loved Jn 13:34.
Question: Would you like to pray for your friends, “Lord, keep them from hell, even if means me going to hell”?
Answer: Give your answer to God.
Question: If you continue to pray the above prayer, will your own heart become soft and tender?
Answer: Yes!
Question: If you continue to pray the above prayer, will God answer your prayer: will his heart become soft and tender?
Answer: Yes!
Action Point 1: Please set up a schedule to intercede for your friends.
Action Point 2: Please set up a schedule to communicate with them.
May the Lord bless you & continue to build His Church through you.

The Process of TASTING GOD - A Study
God is ABSOLUTELY TASTY!!! You just have to get a taste of His goodness.
The following are some truths/suggestions in the context of tasting Him:
1.Our identity lies in ‘serving people on behalf of Jesus’.
2.Obedience is a must. To choose to rebel is to choose Satan-likeness. To choose to obey is to choose Christ-likeness.
3.Those who obey are friends of Jesus. He will reveal to them His mind and heart. This is how we get to taste Him.
“You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.” John 15:14-15
4.Read the Bible out loud. You must finish the Bible at least once in 365 days. (I read mine twice in the last about 10 ½ months—but then I have more time than you.)
5.Give thanks—out loud—for the following truths, over and over again. (Decide what is the minimum time you will give thanks for these—and stick to it. Once you have memorised them, you can continue thanksgiving at other times also, specially as you lie down to sleep. I have found this most helpful in hearing from God.)
•God I thank You that You love me with all Your heart, with all Your soul, with all Your mind and with all Your strength Mk 12:30
•God I thank You that You love me as much as You love Yourself Mk 12:31
•God I thank You that You give as much importance to my welfare as You do to Your welfare Phil 2:4
•God I thank You that You give more importance to my welfare than Your own welfare Phil 2:3
•God I thank You that You love me so much that You sent Jesus to die for me Jn 3:16
•God I thank You that You love me so much that You gave Your Holy Spirit to me Eph 1:13
• Jesus I thank You that You died for me Jn 3:16
• Jesus I thank You that You live for me Heb 7:25
• Jesus I thank You that You are praying for me always Rom 8:34
•God I thank You that You are my God as You are the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I thank You that Your name is ‘God of ____’
•God I thank You that Your name is Emmanuel. God I thank You that Your name is ‘God with _____’ Mt 1:23
•God I thank You that You are ‘God on behalf of _____’ 2 Chron 16:9
INTERCESSION
Please write down the names of the ____ children and pray the following prayers for each of them by name.
1. ‘Jesus, I thank you for (name). I thank you that (name) is made in Your image and likeness. That You love (name) so much that You died for him/her. I thank You that You love (name) with all Your heart, soul, mind and strength. I thank You that You love (name) as much as You love Yourself.
2. ‘Jesus, please heal whatever wounds (name) has in his/her heart, so that Your love can flow freely through him/her. Please help (name) to forgive whoever/whatever caused those wounds’
3. ‘Please give (name) Your heart—so that he/she can forgive as You forgave, can love as You loved. Please give (name) Your mind—so that he/she can help others as You would have helped them’
You can add anything else you may want to the above
Do it slowly. There is no need to rush. You can pray through the list over two or three days. The idea is to pray slowly, with a listening ear, so that the Holy Spirit can tell you whatever else He wants you to pray for. And when you have finished the list, start all over again. After you have had some practice you can pray these prayers even in the house, school bus, in the office or any other time when your mind is free.
Please do both of the above for 10 days, and then give me feedback.

What is the Gospel?
Rev 14:6 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth--to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people-- (NKJV)
Q. What was the angel doing in the midst of heaven?
A. He was having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on earth, to every nation, tribe, tongue and people.
Q. Since when is the Gospel preached in the world?
Gal 3:8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, "In you all the nations shall be blessed." (NKJV)
Q. What is everlasting Gospel according to Rev 14:6?
A. Everlasting Gospel means a Gospel that will never end and which will never change.
Q. What is Gospel?
A. God Himself is the Gospel. (He will never end and He will never change)
His Nature is the Gospel.
He wants to reveal Himself to everyone.
Q. Which Gospel did Jesus preach?
A. Mt 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. (NKJV)
Jesus preached the Gospel of the Kingdom.
Q. Who’s is the Kingdom?
A. Col 1:13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, (NKJV)
The Kingdom of God is the Kingdom of God’s Son and of God’s Divine Love.
(Note: Where there is Kingdom of God, there needs to be love. With LOVE the Kingdom of God is identified, where there is no love, it is not the Kingdom of God).
Q. Where the Gospel needs to be preached now?
A. The Gospel is needed to be preached where the Kingdom of God is not present.
Q. Where is the Gospel needed to be preached first?
A. The Gospel is needed to be preached first in the CHURCH.
Q. Gospel is for what category of people?
A. Gospel is for people those who dwell on the earth--to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people-- (NKJV) Rev 14:6. God desires to reveal Himself to everyone. Not even one can be missed out.
GOSPEL as a Double edged Sword.
Q. How Gospel is a two edged sword?
A. 2Co 2:15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.
2Co 2:16 To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things? (NKJV)
Gospel gives life and life everlasting to those who believe in it.
Gospel is a aroma of death to those who deny it.
Q. What is eternal life or everlasting life?
A. Joh 17:3 "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." (NKJV)
Knowing God the Father is eternal life and knowing Jesus Christ is eternal life.
NOTE: Without Jesus Christ we cannot know the Father.
Joh 10:9 "I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture
Joh 6:46 "Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father.
1Jo 4:14 ¶ And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.
Q. Will I be in eternal life only after my death?
A. NO, anyone who believes in Jesus Christ has eternal life and if He knows God daily in Jesus, that person is already walking in eternal life. He will not die, he will just sleep and rise again in Jesus when Jesus comes back to judge the earth.
Summary:
- God Himself is the Gospel, His Nature is the Gospel.
- Knowing God & Jesus is Eternal life.
- Gospel has to be first preached in the Church. (The Gospel of the Kingdom).
Blessings,
Pastor Mohit Tarachand

All things belong to whom?
1Co 3:22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come--all are yours.
Paul tells us in the book of Corinthians that all things are yours which means all things belongs to 'me' as I belong to Lord Jesus Christ.
All things here means all things, Paul lists:
Paul or Apollos or Cephas (All Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers)
The World
Life
Death
Things Present
Things to Come
Q. To whom does the major cities of the world belong?
A. According to 1Co 3:22 it belongs to _____________ (put your name in here).
Q. If everything is Ours or mine, then what change should take in my attitude?
A. If everything is ours or mine, then there should remain no desire to gain anything, except Christ. (Phil 3:10)
Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus I thank you that I belong to you and all things belong to me because I am your bride my Husband. Lord, this wicked self of mine continues to desire gain at all times and moves my heart away from you. My heart is deceived (Jeremiah 17:9) please help me that I can nail my self and the unwanted desires to the cross. Set me free from covetousness, I repent; please wash me with your precious blood. Let my sole desire be to gain You and You alone. In Jesus name – Amen!

Love for Truth: A study by Dr.Pravin Moudgill
Let me share some of the things that He has been impressing upon me.
I will be judged on the basis of the command to ‘love my neighbour whom I can see’. I, Pravin know that I cannot love—it is not in me. So I sought God, ‘God, how do You equip people to love?’
His answer was, ‘I provide the enabling to love. But those who would seek Me for ‘love for man’, must first seek Me for ‘love of truth’’
Those who want to be saved must first receive the love of truth.
“With all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved” 2 Thessalonians 2:10
Those who do not receive this will perish.
So, what does this mean operationally? His answer was that I need to seek three sets of truth
What is it that He wants to do—what is the heart and mind of God—what is the end-time scenario, what will the kingdom of God on earth look like, what is the ‘Z’?
What is the situation that prevails today—what is the ‘A’?
How does one move from ‘A’ to ‘Z’—what are the ‘ways of God’, the ways in which He works?
(‘Z’ is where God is headed for. Unless I know where He is going, and unless I know the ways in which He walks, how can I walk with Him?)
Let me first however make a digression. Let me first talk a bit about the consequences of failing to seek the truth.
Deception
I am placing below some truths about deception
To not know (walk in) the truth is, by definition to be (walk) in deception.
Deception is defined as ‘I don’t know that I don’t know’. ‘I think that I am walking right, but in reality I am off-track’.
Truth sets free Jn 8:32. Deception blinds and binds.
Can a person who does not love truth claim to love Truth (Jesus)?
Can a person who does not deliberately set out to seek truth ever uncover the deceptions he may be in, specially the deceptions of his heart Jer 19:7?
The degree to which I, in my work/ministry choose to overlook truth, to that degree I am building on deception.
Will such work survive, or will it be burnt up 1 Cor 3:15?
What is it that brings glory to God, ‘fruit that dies’ or ‘fruit that remains’?
Revival
I am placing below some truths about revivals
Every revival movement so far has died—often sooner than later. All the major denominations came out as a result of revival. But the fires soon grew cold. The longest single revival that I am aware of is the Moravian revival—that lasted 100 years. So also local churches. They start well, they start as relational churches, but soon become program oriented. (The Church continues to grow, but specific revivals and local churches die.)
- This has always been the case. Five of the seven churches of the Book of Revelation, e.g., entered into deception within the first or second generation (depending how Revelation is dated). The church in Sardis that was once alive died—and they did not even know that they were dead Rev 3:1. (Many of us do not believe that it is possible to lose salvation—that names can be cut off from the Book of Life.) "I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life" Revelation 3:5
If they had believed, they would have continued to work out their salvation in fear and trembling Phil 2:12. (The churches in Ephesus and Laodecia were not yet dead, but in danger of dying. But they did not know the danger they were in—they were under deception.)
Jesus warned (prophesied) that many will be deceived, and their love will grow cold Mt 24:11-12. He said that many believers walk the broad path, while only a few walk the narrow path Mt 7:13-14. (We know that the Sermon on the Mount is addressed to born again persons—those who call God ‘Father’)
‘A’ and ‘Z’
I am placing below one-word descriptions of ‘Z’, the end God has in mind. (This can be elaborated, but for now this will suffice.)
The ‘A’ is described in some detail—in terms of ‘heart attitudes’ of the individual. The symptoms of the heart-attitude of the individual can be seen at the church level. I am not even mentioning the many things that are wrong at the nation level, even in the so-called Christian nations.
| Z | A |
Individual | Christlikeness | Love for blessings; rejoicing in biblical truths that are ‘convenient’ rather than ‘all truth’; preference for activity over relationships; seeking quick returns rather than laying foundations for work that will survive; walk by sight (e.g., blessings, results) rather than faith |
The church | Unity | Preference to ‘me and my ministry’ rather than ‘do unto others what I would have them do for me’ and ‘bearing the burdens of others’; focus on evangelism rather than discipling (unlike Jesus); playing the numbers game; where ever there is self-seeking our wisdom is ‘demonic’ Jas 3:14-16 |
The nation | Righteousness | |
Ways of God
The question is how to go from ‘A’ to ‘Z’?
This involves first change of heart—receiving from God a heart that is contrite and trembles at the word. Then (to a degree, concurrently) receiving from Him His strategies or ‘ways’
I won’t talk about how to change the heart. This is a major subject in itself. The Lord has begun to work this in me. (He has begun to show me how vile is my heart.) I cannot teach how to change the heart till I myself undergo at least a degree of change.
Some of the basics however are:
A decision to ‘seek God and God alone’ 1 Chron 16:11 (not blessings, not ministry, nothing else)
A decision to claim only one promise: ‘Behold, I come quickly’ Rev 22:7
A decision to know nothing except (which means: become like) the crucified Christ 1 Cor 2:2
A decision to search out every jot and tittle of the law—so that He may teach me all things, guide me into all truth, thoroughly equip me for every good work Jn 14:26, 16:13, 2 Tim 3:16-17
Practice stilling the heart, that I may know God Ps 46:10
Judge myself against the law, that I may not be judged 1 Cor 11:31
Learn to wait upon the Lord so that He may not only teach me His ways, but also His timing Ecc 3:1, 11
Again, I can go on and on. But I will stop
Pravin Moudgill
Where am I? At what stage am I in my walk with God?
I am full of talk (I know a lot of theory); but not able to walk the talk. Which means I am a hypocrite. Which means that I do not have the ‘wisdom that is from above’ Jas 3:17

Pillar & Ground of the Truth: The Church
I would like you to pay attention especially to 1Timothy 3:15 "but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth."
Paul desire is that; Timothy and other believers in the Church should know how they ought to conduct themselves in the House of God (Church of the living God) which is also the PILLAR & GROUND OF THE TRUTH.
It is through His Church that the Lord Jesus Christ reveals Himself to His people. The Church is the place where the TRUTH is revealed and exalted in and through the saints of the Lord Jesus Christ.
In John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
This is not just a saying but a claim which Jesus does about Himself to describe who He is.
HE IS THE TRUTH - OF GOD.
HE IS THE LIFE - WHICH GOD HAS SENT FOR MANKIND.
Truth is not an emotion, just a good value or a thing of instance rather it is a person, whose name is JESUS CHRIST Himself.
(If you desire to know the TRUTH and desire to walk in TRUTH on a daily basis, please refer to the prayer at the end of this blog).
It is when our conduct is right in the Church and in accordance with what the Truth (Lord Jesus) Himself desires, then we will be able to reap the blessings and the benefits that the Truth desires to give to us. The key benefit of knowing the Truth is FREEDOM.
Bible tells us in John 8:32, "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
I invite you into my life Jesus - O the Truth of God! Help me to walk in Truth and teach others the same. You are my Lord from today and I will serve You. Thanks for coming into my life. In Jesus name - Amen!
