As we forgive our debtors. ,
15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses
.

Question: Why is unforgiveness unpardonable?

Answer 1: I know that God has forgiven him in Christ. But I choose to nullify the judgment of God. I exalt myself above God. I do what Lucifer did
Isa 14:13-15 “For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.' 15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit” NKJV

Answer 2
: When I speak evil of my brother (whether in my heart or with my mouth) I am sitting in judgment over the word of the God and its Author.
James 4:11-12 “Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. 12 There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?” NKJV
Answer 3: When I refuse to see my brother as God sees him, I am treating lightly the blood of Jesus that has declared him clean. How then can I claim cleansing by the blood of Jesus?

Question: Is saying ‘I forgive you’ not enough?

Answer: No. I am required to forgive with my heart. If in my heart I still look down upon him then I am in danger of hellfire Mt 5:22.
But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother 5without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.

Question:
But I am unable to keep my heart soft. I am unable to have tender feelings towards him, to have compassion towards him, to have the love of Christ flowing out from my heart towards him. I want to, and I try, but I still have problems; the wounds have not healed. What do I do?

Answer: Yes!
Question: If he does not forgive you from the heart, is he not in danger of hell?
Answer: Yes!
Question: Would you like him to go to hell?
Answer: No!

Moses and Paul
were willing to go to hell to keep others out of hell.
Exodus 32:32 “Yet now, if You will forgive their sin — but if not, I pray, blot me out of Your book which You have written” NKJV
Romans 9:2-3 “I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart. 3 For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh” NKJV
